Contestants are required to go to a minimum of 15 PRCA rodeos for the money won at this even to count towards 2021 World standings or the 2021 Rookie of the Year standings. Money will count towards circuit standings and this event will be applied towards a circuit count. Money won at this event will not count toward All Around standings. STK. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Ron Ross Memorial Steer Roping. To be eligible, the contestant must be a card member (no permits). Contestants will pay entry fees of $400. Contestant will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Ron Ross Memorial Steer Roping will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestant who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to pay-off. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around Standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. (NFSR qualifiers will not be eligible for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals). STK. up replacement” will be one hour prior to the performance. The alternate list will be based on 2018 PRCA World Standings. The alternate will compete on the animal that is drawn for the contestant the he is replacing. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted on Mon., Feb., 25 between 9 AM and 12 PM for any available positions. TRADE DEADLINE - Fri., Feb., 22 at 5 PM. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 24 minimum entries (12 per performance). No compensation. No slack. (See R1.2.13.4. and R1.2.14 for qualifications). One go-round with the first and second place contestants each performance advancing to a bonus round during that same performance. If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). If there are 8 or less entries per performance at the time that the entries close, the committee has the option to cancel the event or have two go-rounds, back to back, same performance. PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round(s). Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, $500 (of the $1,000) will be added back to the pay- off for the long go-round, and $500 will be split between the two qualifiers for the bonus round. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn 3 hours prior to each performance by the judges. Re-rides and the re-ride order will be designated by the stock contractor. Any animal turned-out in a performance will automatically become the first re-ride prior to using the designated re-rides. If more than one animal is turned-out in a performance, a random draw will determine which animal will be the first re-ride. The bonus round stock will be designated by the stock contractor and no re-rides will be given during the bonus round for inferior performance. In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won at this event will not count for All Around Standings, circuit standings, or towards a circuit rodeo participation count. STK. SR - 4 go-rounds plus a top 18 progressive round. The first three go- rounds will be run on June 17. The fourth go-round and the progressive will be run on June 18. $45 stock charge per go-round. Contestants who qualify for the progressive go- round will be charged an additional $45 stock charge. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. (There may be the option of two go-rounds back to back, same performance with no finals depending on the number of entries at the committee’s request). If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed 20 entries. If there are not 10 qualified rides, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw (by the judges). If the 10th contestant is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judges. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. QUALIFICATIONS: 90% top money, 10% random draw of exemptions. NOTIFY PROCOM - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2020 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2020 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos or events held during the 2020 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number, must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN - Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES - Only contestants that were drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates. Alternates will be selected based on 2020 money won. Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per Rule Book. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant who turns out after the stock callbacks, whether the contestant is replaced or not. Selection of bulls for the finals will be accomplished by mutual agreement among the event representative or his duly designated appointee, the primary stock contractor, and a judge designated by the Supervisor of Pro Officials. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals.
