New B10.4.5 Tournament Style Format . Must have added money of $130,000 per event (with equal money in team roping). The payoff structure must be approved by the event representatives. Contestants are placed in brackets, advance to a Semi Finals or Progressive Round based on highest scores or fastest times, or in some cases based on money won, and then advance to a Finals and possibly also a Shoot-Out round. Each bracket may consist of one or more performances. A specified number of contestants advance from each bracket or performance to the Semi-Finals performances (or Wild Card Round in some cases). A specified number of contestants advance from the Semi-Finals to the Finals. In most cases, there is no average payoff at a Tournament Style rodeo. There is a separate payoff for the brackets, the Semi-Finals, the Wild Card Round, the Finals, and the Shoot-Out Round. Details for advancement and payoff for each individual rodeo will be outlined in the ground rules for that specific rodeo. Stock is drawn 24 hours prior to first performance and stock needs to be turned in and screened 48 hours before the first draw. (C. Rostockyj 3/23)
