Turn outs and doctor’s releases in the Qualifying Performance will be replaced by alternates from the alternate list based on 2024 PRCA World Standings. An alternate will be placed in the position corresponding with the contestant that he is replacing. If stock has already been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn for the contestant that he is replacing. Turn outs and doctor’s release in the Darby Extreme BB Event on June 2 will be replaced by the next highest ranked contestant (based on scores) from the Qualifying Performance on June 1. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA Rodeo or event that has a “same performance” conflict as this event. GRACE PERIOD: Will expire one hour after entries close. QUALIFICATIONS: 40 minimum entries based on 2024 PRCA World Standings as of 7 days prior to entry closing. A contestant who has been accepted as an entry at the Darby Extreme Bareback event on Sunday, June 2, will not be accepted as an entry for the Qualifier on Saturday, June 1. The top 10 from the Qualifying Performance on June 1 will advance to the Darby Extreme Bareback event on June 2. FORMAT for the Qualifying Performance on Sat., June 1: One go-round if 31 to 40 entries. One go-round with a top 10 finals if 21 to 30 entries. Two go- rounds if 20 or less entries. The top 10 in the average will advance to the Darby Extreme Bareback event on Sun., June 2. If ties result in more than 10 to advance (will not exceed 10), the tied contestant with the single highest score in either go-round will advance. If still tied, the tied contestant with the highest ranking in 2024 World Standings (as of 7 days prior to entry closing) will advance. If a contestant does not accept advancement to the Extreme event due to injury or any other reason, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the average from the Qualifier will advance. ENTRY FEES: $100 (plus $35 supplemental fee) The contestants who advance from the Qualifying Performance to the Extreme event will not be required to pay any additional fees. PAY-OFF for the Qualifying Performance on Sat., June 1. Eight places will be paid in the average (There will be no payoff for the finals or go-rounds if two go-rounds or if one go-round and a finals percentages paid for place will be in accordance with the rulebook (R5.4.1). NOTE: This event will count for qualification for the 2024 National Finals Rodeo and the 2024 Rookie of the Year Standings as long as the contestant has competed at a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos during the 2024 rodeo year. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around or Circuit Standings nor will the event be applied to a contestant’s required circuit participation count. STK. CONT.: VARIOUS
