desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. FINALS STOCK - The order of the bulls to be used in the finals will be designated by the event representative and listed in order on the judges sheets prior to the first go-round of competition. The contestant with the lowest score will be listed first and the contestant with the highest score will be listed last with an animal already designated to that position. The order of any ties will be determined by a random draw by the judges. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. The pay-off will be determined on the highest marked scores.30% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places. 20% of the total purse will be allocated to the final go-round, pays 6 places. 50% of the total purse will be allocated to the average, pays 8 places. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the first go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count toward PRCA World standing (provided the contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos). Xtreme Bulls Tour standings, and Rookie of the Year standings. Money won by a drawn back contestant in the finals will not count toward All Around standings, circuit standings, or toward a circuit rodeo count. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2020 National Finals Rodeo or the 2020 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2020 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Mon., Dec. 16 between 9 AM and 12 PM. Re-entries will be accepted if the number of entries for an event at the original entry closing time is less than limit defined in the ground rules. If more contestants enter during the “re-entry” period than there are positions available, the contestants accepted will be based on the qualification procedures defined in the Circuit Finals ground rules. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re- entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. If a contestant TO’s or DR’s prior to the “re-entry” period, that position may be filled during the “re-entry” period. ALL CONTESTANTS - Contestants enter through Gate 10 on Lake Air Drive to park. Contestants will check-in with secretary at the Extraco Events Center to pay fees and pick-up packets (back numbers, jackets, meeting schedules, etc.) between 4 and 5:30 PM on Thurs., Jan. 2. Back numbers must be worn while in arena. MANDATORY CONTESTANT MEETING - Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 5:30 PM. STALLS - TD, TR will receive one free stall; SW will be given stalls accordingly. Any other horses or extras will be charged $15 per stall, per night. Shavings for sale on site. No outside shavings are allowed. TR - Only two loops allowed . SR - Top 12. Three go-rounds held Friday, Jan. 3 at 9 AM. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. (The misdraw procedure will not be used). $45 stock charge per go-round. STOCK CONTRACTORS - RE stock and TE cattle must be present at the Extraco Events Center no later than 3 PM on Wed., Jan. 1, 2020. TE - Cattle will be prepared and run through on Wed, Jan. 1. TR - 3:00 - 3:45 PM; SW - 3:45 - 4:30 PM; TD - 4:30 - 6:00 PM. TE - If a timed event animal escapes (or a re-run is given for any other reason) the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. ALL EVENTS - Will pay four places in the go-round and the average. ALL EVENTS - If a contestant turns out in a go- round, contestant must turn out the next go-round (does not apply to VIR). To receive Texas Circuit generated year-end awards, contestants must enter and compete in all go-rounds of The Ram Texas Circuit Finals unless valid doctor release is received through PRCA.
