ALL CONTESTANTS - The Sandhills Stock Show & Rodeo in Odessa will be a qualifying event for a position in each event at the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo. ALL CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - Must have proof of current Coggins Test. Out of state horses must have health papers and meet current Texas Animal Health Regulations. No exceptions. ALL CONTESTANTS - Only actual contestants, arena crew, and Officials will be allowed in the arena during competition. RV hookups and stalls will be available in Andrews. For reservations call 432.413.4115. STALLS - Limited number of stalls available on a first come, first serve basis, $25 per stall. No reservations . SR - Four go-rounds held in the Andrews Co. Expo Center in Andrews, TX. The first and second go-rounds will be run on Sat., Jan. 4 and the third and fourth go-rounds will be run on Sun., Jan. 5. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. (The misdraw procedure will not be used). $45 stock charge per go-round. QUALIFICATIONS: BB & SB - 72 minimum entries. No compensation. eligible, the contestant must be a card member (no permits) and contestants with no money won must have entered and competed in the steer roping event at a minimum of 7 PRCA rodeos (or events) during the 2019 rodeo year and the 2020 rodeo year combined (as of entry closing time) and also exempt will be any NFSR qualifiers. Contestants will pay an additional entry fees of $400. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Sandhills Stock Show & Rodeo will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the four go-rounds and the average after four go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. (NFSR qualifiers will not be eligible for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals). STK. Re-entries will be accepted if the number of entries for an event at the original entry closing time is less than limit defined in the ground rules. If more contestants enter during the “re- entry” period than there are positions available, the contestants accepted will be based on the qualification procedures defined in the Circuit Finals ground rules. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re-entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. If a contestant TO’s or DR’s prior to the “re-entry” period, that position may be filled during the “re-entry” period. ALL CONTESTANTS - Entry fees will be paid by the First Frontier Circuit.
