The check-in deadline for this event will be one hour prior to the performance. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Mon., Nov. 21 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the Business Journal. TRADE DEADLINE - Fri., Nov. 18 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. COMPETITION FORMAT - 80 minimum entries. If less than 60 entries, it may be two go-rounds, perf to perf. If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed 40 entries. QUALIFICATIONS: 50% top first year, 25% permits, 25% random draw. No exemptions. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions (if there are less than 5 entries in any event) on Wed., Nov. 2 between 8 AM and 1 PM. ALL EVENTS: PROCOM will attempt to replace TO’s. DR’s, VIR’s, and DO’s that are notified through PROCOM prior to 5:00 PM on Wed, November 30 (the day prior to the event) from an alternate list consisting of contestants who were drawn out due to qualification. The order of contestants on the alternate list will be based on advancement rankings of contestants who competed at the Permit Finals in Waco. Next on the alternate list will be the contestants who did not compete at Waco based on 2022 Permit Standings. Walk-Up replacements may also be accepted for positions that were not replaced by PROCOM. ALL CONTESTANTS: All contestants (including alternates desiring to be considered as “Walk Up” replacements) must check-in with the rodeo secretary between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 2. Any contestants who have not checked in prior to 10:00 AM may be replaced by an alternate. There will be a mandatory meeting at 10:00 AM for all contestants at the rodeo secretary’s office. Each contestant will receive a $500 stipend. No entry fees. EVENTS: BB SB BR TD SW TR-HD TR-HL @ $1212512 PERMITS: None GROUND RULES: Contestants must confirm entry by calling PROCOM between 12 PM, Oct. 18 and 12 PM, Oct. 19. Contestants not confirmed by 12 PM, Oct. 19 may be fined and/or disqualified. TR - Headers and heelers must designate their partners for the NFR in accordance with the “Procedures for Pairing Team Roping Headers and Heelers.” FOR COMPLETE 2022 NFR GROUND RULES see

current health certificate within 30 days, negative Coggins within 6 months, and brand inspection required by the state of Nevada. Stall check-in will be Wed, November 30 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and again from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the South Point Equestrian Center stalls. No late check-in will be allowed. Horses must vacate stalls no later than 8:00 AM on Friday, December 2. Any horses remaining after this deadline will be removed at the owner’s expense. Any cost or liability will be the responsibility of the owner. Contestants must provide health and brand papers required by the state of Nevada. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, TD, SW, TR - All contestants must enter through PROCOM during the specified times. 5 entries will be accepted for each event. The 5 contestants with the highest ranking in the average from the Permit Finals in Waco on October 7-9, will be accepted as entries for the Las Vegas Permit Challenge. If any of the 5 highest ranked contestants from the Permit Finals do not enter due to injury or any other reason, the next highest ranked contestant from the Permit Finals in Waco will be accepted. If less than 5 contestants of the 10 contestants who were accepted as entries at the Permit Finals in Waco enter the Permit Challenge in Las Vegas, the next highest ranked contestant in the 2022 Permit Standings who enters through PROCOM will be accepted. In the Team Roping, 5 headers and 5 heelers will be accepted as entries using the same qualifications as the other events. For headers, only money won in the Permit Standings as a header will be considered, and for heelers, only money won in the Permit Standings as a heeler will be considered. The 5 headers who qualify must rope with the 5 heelers who qualify. If a header or heeler does not designate a partner by entry closing time, a partner will be randomly drawn for him from among the other headers or heelers who did not designate a partner. BR - In the Bull Riding, 10 entries will be accepted using the same qualifications as the other events. ALL EVENTS - Permit members and card members who were permit members for any part of the 2022 rodeo year will be eligible to enter. Any contestant who is ranked in the top 30 of the 2022 PRCA World Standings as of October 1, 2022, in his respective event will not be eligible to be accepted for an entry at the Permit Challenge. FORMAT: Two go-rounds, back-to-back, same performance. TIMED EVENTS: If a timed event animal escapes or a rerun is awarded for any other reason, the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. NOTE: Money won at the Permit Challenge will not count towards World Standings or circuit standings. It will count towards 2023 money won qualifications. ARENA: National Western Events ADDRESS: 1515 E. 47th Avenue PERFS: 2 Perfs: December 16-8:00 AM; December 17-8:00 AM EVENTS: TD SW PERMITS: TD SW TR GROUND RULES: ALL EVENTS - The “30-hour replacement” rule will be in effect. ALL CONTESTANTS - All participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the PRCA Bylaws and Official Rodeo Rules and these Ground Rules. ALL CONTESTANTS - All contestants must check in with the rodeo secretary in the “Show Office” and sign a release of liability before competing in this rodeo. ALL CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - Must have proof of current Coggins test and current health papers. Health papers must be checked at the Stalling Office prior to unloading horses. All stalls will be available to contestants at $20 per night (includes one bag of shavings), beginning Wednesday, December 14th after 3:00 p.m., on a first come first served basis. Parking of contestant’s vehicles and horse trailers must be in area designated by the National Western Stock Show parking lot operator. Contestants with trailers will enter the grounds through “Gate 7” off of Brighton Blvd. Gate 7 is on the left side of Brighton Blvd. when heading North past the Events Center. It is before the road curves at the light rail station. Contestants without trailers may park in parking lot “A” located near the front of the Events Center on 47th avenue. The 40 contestants or teams who entered and qualified for National Western Stock Show are not eligible to enter the qualifier. QUALIFICATIONS: TD - 145 minimum entries; SW - 155 minimum entries; TR - 120 minimum entries. FORMAT: 40 qualifying contestants or teams from the qualifier will be placed in the performances at the National Western Stock Show, along with the 40 contestants (or teams) already entered. The 40 qualifying contestants or teams will be top ten from the first go-round (plus splits), the top ten from the second go-round that have not already qualified from the first go-round (plus splits), and the remaining positions (not to exceed 40) will be filled from the fastest times in the average.
