See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Tue., Dec. 27 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 20 minimum entries. 20% top circuit, 80% from top money (circuit positions will be filled first). No compensation. No slack. No exemptions. FORMAT: One go-round with a top 4 shoot-out round. CHECK-IN: The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at this event is 1 hour prior to start of the event. ALL CONTESTANTS - If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF: BB, SB, BR : 6% of the total purse will be deducted prior to the pay- off. $5,000 will be held out for the shoot-out round. The shoot-out round will pay two places, $3,000 for first place, and $2,000 for second place, based on highest scores in the shoot-out round. If there are not 2 qualified scores in the shoot-out round, the remaining place(s) will be paid based on the highest scores in the first go- round. Only money paid out to a contestant without a qualified score in either go-round will be considered ground money. All other money paid out will count for PRCA World Standings. NOTE - In order for money won in this competition to count for the 2023 National Finals Rodeo or the 2023 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2023 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. In all events money won will not count for All Around standings. Money won at this event will not count for circuit standings nor will the event be applied to the contestants required circuit participation count. Any rodeo ending on or before this date will count towards the 2022 rodeo season. Any rodeo ending after this will count towards the 2023 rodeo season. Total money above includes estimated committee purse of $4,000, estimated PRCA matching funds $3,000, estimated sponsor dollars of $12,002, estimated $3 fund of TBD. Only actual contestant and one companion allowed gate access. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Fri., Dec. 2 between 9 AM and 12 PM. Re- entries will be accepted if the number of entries for an event at the original entry closing time is less than limit defined in the ground rules. If more contestants enter during the “re-entry” period than there are positions available, the contestants accepted will be based on the qualification procedures defined in the Circuit Finals ground rules. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re- entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. If a contestant TO’s or DR’s prior to the “re-entry” period, that position may be filled during the “re-entry” period. ALL CONTESTANTS - All contestants are to sign liability waiver before competition. ALL EVENTS - Pay four places in the go- rounds and average. ALL CONTESTANTS - Must wear back numbers while competing. QUALIFICATIONS: Top 12. COMPLETE CIRCUIT FINALS GROUND RULES can be found online under Member Services. TD - There will be a disqualification for a jerk down as long as all criteria are in compliance with the jerk down policy. TE - If a timed event animal escapes or a re-run is awarded for any other reason, the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. fastest time will advance to the performances at the National Western Rodeo. If still tied, the tied contestant with the highest ranking in the 2022 PRCA World Standings for that event will advance. All 80 contestants (or teams) that qualify for the Denver National Western Rodeo will have a grace period to change preferences and/or buddy groups on Tues., Dec. 27 between 8:30 AM and 12 PM. For a contestant to advance from the qualifier to the rodeo, his 2023 membership renewal must be current by Mon., December 23 at 2 PM. TD, SW, TR - Two go-rounds. The first go-round will be run on Fri., Dec. 16, 2022, at 8 AM. The second go-round will be run on Sat., Dec. 17, 2022, at 8 AM at the National Western Events Center located at 1515 E. 47th Avenue, Denver, CO. TD - There will be a disqualification for a jerk down as long as criteria are in compliance with the jerk down policy. TR - Only two loops allowed. TD, SW - $30 stock charge for cards and permits. TR - $15 stock charge per man for cards and permits. TE - The qualifier and the National Western Rodeo performances will each count as separate rodeos. All entries are official, unless contestant specifies otherwise at time of entry. TD, SW, TR - Payoff will be in accordance with the rule book. STK. Contestants who enter during the re-entry period and are not placed in an available position will be placed on the alternate list that was established after the original entries closed on November 23. These alternate contestants will be placed on the list in order based on 2022 PRCA World Standings. ALL EVENTS - The alternate list will be based on 2022 PRCA World Standings. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 20 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. The top two in the 2022 Montana Circuit Standings will be accepted first, if they enter. The PRCA Rookie of the Year in each event (BB, SB, BR) will be accepted next. Any remaining positions, not to exceed 20, will be filled based on 2022 PRCA World Standings. No exemptions. FORMAT - One go-round. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn on site at 10 AM on morning of the event. The event representatives for each event will be allowed to screen the stock included in the draw. PAY-OFF - Will pay 8 places. The 6% of the total purse for the PRCA will not be deducted from the purse. The committee will be billed separately for that amount. ALL EVENTS - Four judges will be used in the arena for scoring the contest. And two additional judges will be used on the back of the chutes.
