ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Thurs., Dec. 16 between 9 AM and 12 PM. If more contestants enter during the “re-entry” period than there are positions available, the contestants accepted will be based on the qualification procedures defined in the Circuit Finals ground rules. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re- entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. If a contestant TO’s or DR’s prior to the “re-entry” period, that position may be filled during the “re-entry” period. ALL CONTESTANTS - Contestants enter through Gate 10 on Lake Air Drive to park. Contestants will check-in with secretary at the Extraco Events Center to pay fees and pick-up packets (back numbers, jackets, meeting schedules, etc.) between 4 and 5:30 PM on Thurs., Dec. 30. Back numbers must be worn while in arena. (R11.2.2) MANDATORY CONTESTANT MEETING - Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 5:30 PM. STALLS - TD, TR will receive one free stall; SW will be given stalls accordingly. Any other horses or extras will be charged $15 per stall, per night. Shavings for sale on site. No outside shavings are allowed. TR - Only two loops allowed . SR - Top 12. Three go-rounds held Friday, Dec. 31 at 9 AM. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. (The misdraw procedure will not be used). $45 stock charge per go-round. STOCK CONTRACTORS - RE stock and TE cattle must be present at the Extraco Events Center no later than 3 PM on Wed., Dec. 29, 2021. TE - Cattle will be prepared and run through on Wed, Dec. 29. TE - If a timed event animal escapes (or a re-run is given for any other reason) the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. ALL EVENTS - Will pay four places in the go-round and the average. ALL EVENTS - If a contestant turns out in a go- round, contestant must turn out the next go-round (does not apply to VIR). To receive Texas Circuit generated year-end awards, contestants must enter and compete in all go-rounds of The Ram Texas Circuit Finals unless valid doctor release is received through PRCA. CHECK-IN: The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at this event is 1 hour prior to start of the event. ALL CONTESTANTS - If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF : BB, SB, BR: 6% of the total purse will be deducted prior to the pay- off. $5,000 will be held out for the shoot-out round. The shoot-out round will pay two places, $3,000 for first place, and $2,000 for second place, based on highest scores in the shoot-out round. If there are not 2 qualified scores in the shoot-out round, the remaining place(s) will be paid based on the highest scores in the first go- round. Only money paid out to a contestant without a qualified score in either go-round will be considered ground money. All other money paid out will count for PRCA World Standings. NOTE - In order for money won in this competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for the PRCA World standings. In all events money won will not count for All Around standings. Money won at this event will not count for circuit standings nor will the event be applied to the contestants required circuit participation count.
