See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. SB - 28 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. 80% top money. 20% top circuit. No exemptions. One go-round on Sunday November 21 at 10:30 AM. TD - 120 minimum entries. Two complete go- rounds will be run in slack at 3 PM on Saturday, November 20. The top 28 in the average after the 2nd go-round will advance to the progressive round held on Sunday, November 21 at 10:30 AM. SB, TD - Money won at this event will count towards 2022 PRCA World Standings and 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, as long as the contestant entered and competed in a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos during the 2022 season. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around or Circuit Standings nor will the event be applied to a contestant’s required circuit participation count. Money won in the SB will count towards 2022 X-Broncs Standings. STK. WALK-UP REPLACEMENTS - May also be accepted for positions that were not replaced by PROCOM. ALL EVENTS - PROCOM will attempt to replace TO’s, VIR’s, DR’s or DO’s that are notified through PROCOM prior to 5 PM on Wed., Dec. 1 (the day prior to the event) from an alternate list consisting of contestants who entered and were drawn out due to qualifications. The order of contestants on the alternate list will be based on 2021 money won as a permit member. Walk-up replacements may also be accepted for positions that were not replaced by PROCOM. ALL CONTESTANTS - All contestants (including alternates desiring to be “walk-up” replacements) must check-in with the rodeo secretary between 8 AM and 10 AM on Thurs., Dec. 2. Any contestants who have not checked in prior to 10 AM may be replaced by an alternate. There will be a mandatory meeting for all contestants at 10 AM, Dec. 2 at the rodeo secretary’s office. Each contestant will receive a $500 stipend. CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - Must provide current health certificate within 30 days, negative Coggins with 6 months, and brand inspection required by the state of Nevada. Stall check-in will be Wed., Dec. 1, 2021 from 10 AM to 2 PM, and again from 6 PM to 10 PM at the South Point Equestrian Center stalls. No late check-in will be allowed. Horses must vacate the stalls no later than 10 AM on Fri., Dec. 3, 2021. GROUND RULES: QUALIFICATIONS: The top 15 (plus ties) in the Legacy Steer Roping Standings will be accepted as entries. 2021 NSFR contestants will not be accepted to participate in the 2021 Legacy Steer Roping finals. FORMAT: Three go- rounds all run at 9 AM on Saturday morning, November 13, with a top 8 finals that will be run during the NFSR performance that night. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. $45 stock charge per go-round.
