CONTESTANT SELECTION FORMULA: SB - 70% from top money, 20% from top circuit, 10% top first year. No compensation. No slack. No exemptions. BR - 80% top money, 10% top circuit, 10% top first year. No compensation. No slack. No exemptions. NOTIFY PROCOM - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry or as an alternate at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day in the BR or same performance in the SB as this event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at this event is 1 hour prior to start of the event. ALL CONTESTANTS - If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. HONEST EFFORT - At any event, a contestant must make an honest effort to compete on the stock drawn for such contestant. If in the opinion of the judge, the contestant has the opportunity to nod for the bronc or bull and does not, the contestant will be disqualified. The determination of the judge will be final. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: SB, BR: 6% of the total purse will be deducted prior to the pay-off. NOTE - In order for money won in this competition to count for the 2020 National Finals Rodeo or the 2020 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2020 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for the PRCA World standings. Money won at this event will count towards 2020 Xbulls standings and 2020 Xbroncs standings. In all events money won will not count for All Around standings. Money won at this event will not count for circuit standings nor will the event be applied to the contestants required circuit participation count. FINALS STOCK - The order of the bulls to be used in the finals will be designated by the event representative and listed in order on the judges’ sheets prior to the first go-round of competition. the contestant with the lowest score will be listed first and the contestant with the highest score will be listed last with an animal already designated to the position. The order of any ties will be determined by a random draw by the judges. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. 30% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places. 20% of the total purse will be allocated to the final go-round, pays 6 places. 50% of the total purse will be allocated to the average, pays 8 places. (If two go-rounds pay-off will be per rulebook). ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round, a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the first go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count toward PRCA World standings (provided the contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos), Xtreme Bulls Tour standings, and Rookie of the Year standings. Money won by a drawn back contestant in the finals will not count toward the All Around standings, circuit standings, or toward a circuit rodeo count. NOTE - In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2020 National Finals Rodeo or the 2020 Rookie of the year Standing, during the 2020 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hours after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 30 minimum entries. One go-round with top 10 finals (will not exceed 10). (There may be two go-rounds, back to back, same performance with no finals, depending on the number of entries). If two go- rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. If there are not 10 qualified rides, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 10th contestant is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. CONTESTANT SELECTION FORMULAS DIV. 2 - 70% top money, 30% top circuit. NOTIFY PROCOM - Notifications must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2019 rodeo year, unless contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least 6 months during the 2019 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than 20 PRCA sanctioned rodeos during the 2019 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician must be received by PRCA National Office prior to entry closing. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not.
