SR - 3 go-rounds plus a top 24 progressive round. The first 3 go-rounds will be run at 9 AM on Sat., Oct. 16. The progressive round will be run at 6 PM on Sat., Oct. 16. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. STOCK CHARGE - $45 per go-round. Contestants who qualify for the progressive round will be charged an additional $45 stock charge. Contestants are required to compete at a minimum of 15 PRCA rodeos for the money won at this event to count towards 2022 PRCA World Standings or 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings. Money will count towards circuit standings and this event will be applied towards the contestant’s required circuit participation count. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around Standings. STK. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the South Texas Classic Steer Roping Event. To be eligible, the contestant must have not been an NFSR qualifier during the past five years. Permit members will also be eligible to enter. Contestants will pay an additional entry fee of $300. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the South Texas Classic Steer Roping Event will be used to determine the pay- off. Pay-off will only include entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the three go- rounds will be included in the pay- off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, Circuit Standings, All Around Standings, money won qualifications, or Permit Standings. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. Six contestants from this event will advance to the San Angelo Roping Fiesta on October 31, which will include the contestant with the fastest time in each go-round and the top three in the average after three go-rounds. If there is a tie for third place in the average, the contestant with the single fastest time in a go-round will advance. If ties cannot be broken, all will advance. The 24 contestants who are accepted as entries for the San Angelo Roping Fiesta will not be accepted as entries for this qualifying event. SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: BR-$100 IF 1/$150 IF 2 PERMITS: BR GROUND RULES: Only actual contestant and one companion allowed gate access. The “30-hour replacement” rule will be in effect. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Thurs., Oct. 14 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - One go-round. 40 minimum entries. May be two go-rounds, back- to-back same performance depending on number of entries. If two go-rounds, the number of contestants accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. QUALIFICATIONS: 70% top money, 30% top circuit. NOTIFY PROCOM - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X- Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN - Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES - Only contestants that were drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates. Alternates will be selected based on 2021 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closings). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes TO’s, DR’s, & VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF - 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULEBOOK. NOTE - In order for money won in the Xtreme Bulls competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) rodeos. Money won will count for 2022 PRCA World standings and 2022 Xtreme Bulls standings. It will not count for All Around standings, circuit
