The alternate list will be based on 2021 World Standings. STOCK DRAW: All three long go-rounds and short round will be drawn prior to the beginning of the first go-round. There will be on animal for every entry plus adequate extras. The extras will be designated by the event representative or his designee. After the completion of each go-round, all extras will be run and will be used to replace any sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. Fresh animals will be used in the finals. QUALIFICATIONS: TD - 35 entries. The top 29 from 2021 PRCA World Standings that enter will be accepted. Six will advance from a qualifying event held on October 29. Entry fees will be $1,075 plus a $35 stock charge. TD - Hand pull barrier will be used. The length of the score will be approved by the event representative. TD PAY-OFF: The following amounts could decrease due to doctors released contestants who are not replaced (which would result in less entry fee money in the total pay-off) or the amounts could increase due to turned out contestants who are replaced (which would result in more entry fee money in the total pay- off). TD FORMAT AND PAY-OFF: Three go-rounds with a top 12 finals all on Saturday, October 30. The go-rounds and the average will each pay 6 places. NOTIFY PROCOM - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry or as an alternate at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as this event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at this event is 1 hour prior to start of the event. ALL CONTESTANTS - If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. HONEST EFFORT - At any event, a contestant must make an honest effort to compete on the stock drawn for such contestant. If in the opinion of the judge, the contestant has the opportunity to nod for the bronc or bull and does not, the contestant will be disqualified. The determination of the judge will be final. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: BB, BR: 6% of the total purse will be deducted prior to the pay-off. NOTE - In order for money won in this competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. The deadline for “walk- up replacement” will be one hour prior to the performance. The alternate list will be based on 2021 PRCA World Standings. The alternate will compete on the animal that is drawn for the contestant that he is replacing. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted on Thurs., October 21 between 9 AM and 12 PM for any available positions. TRADE DEADLINE - Wed., Oct. 20 at 5 PM. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 36 minimum entries (12 per performance). No compensation. No slack. Qualifications will be 70% from 2021 PRCA World Standings, 20% from 2021 Circuit Standings, and 10% random draw. One go- round with the first and second place contestants each performance advancing to a bonus round during that same performance. If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). If there are 8 or less entries per performance at the time that the entries close, the committee has the option to cancel the event or have two go-rounds, back-to-back, same performance. PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round(s). Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, $500 (of the $1,000) will be added back to the pay- off for the long go-round, and $500 will be split between the two qualifiers for the bonus round and will be considered ground money. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn 3 hours prior to each performance by the judges. Re-rides and the re-ride order will be designated by the stock contractor. Any animal turned-out in a performance will automatically become the first re-ride prior to using the designated re-rides. If more than one animal is turned-out in a performance, a random draw will determine which animal will be the first re-ride. The bonus round stock will be designated by the stock contractor and no re-rides will be given during the bonus round. In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2021 National Finals Rodeo or the 2021 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2021 rodeo year.
