TD, SW, TR - If a timed event animal escapes or a rerun is awarded for any other reason during a performance, the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - One go-round. 70 minimum entries. May be two go-rounds, back- to-back same performance depending on number of entries. If two go-rounds, the number of contestants accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. CONTESTANT SELECTION FORMULA - 90% top money, 10% random draw of exemptions. NOTIFY PROCOM - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year. a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN - Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES - Only contestants that were drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates. Alternates will be selected based on 2021 money won. Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes TO’s, DR’s, & VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF - 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULEBOOK. NOTE - In order for money won in the Xtreme Bulls competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World standings and Xtreme Bulls standings. It will not count for All Around standings, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. Re-entries will be accepted if the number of entries for an event at the original entry closing time is less than limit defined in the ground rules. If more contestants enter during the “re- entry” period than there are positions available, the contestants accepted will be based on the qualification procedures defined in the Circuit Finals ground rules. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re- entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. If a contestant TO’s or DR’s prior to the “re-entry” period, that position may be filled during the “re-entry” period. ALL CONTESTANTS - Must check-in with secretary by 2 PM on Nov. 11 to receive the packets and back numbers. Late check-in fine will be $100. MUGSHOTS - Contestants must have photo taken by Thurs., Nov. 11 by 2 PM. After deadline $25 fine.
