No stall reservations. All stalls for rodeo contestants available on first come first serve basis in the Kimble #1 building. No horses in portable stalls/panels for any reason. No horses tied to trailers overnight. No outside shavings allowed on fairgrounds. Any shavings should be received from grounds stall office. All contestants’ trailers must be parked in specific rodeo parking area. All contestants should enter fairgrounds at Gate #3, located on the north side of the fairgrounds, which is 1 block west of 3rd and Grand intersection. Horses that arrive without appropriate paperwork will not be permitted to unload . SR - Three go-rounds held during slack Wed., Sept. 20 at 9 AM. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. (The misdraw procedure will not be used). Stock charge $60 per go-round. TD, SW, TR - Approximately 10 contestants or teams will be placed in each performance. SLACK ORDER - Slack order on Thurs., Sept. 21 is TR, SW, TD. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB - 45 minimum entries. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted on Fri., Sept. 15 between 9 AM and 11 AM for any available positions. TRADE DEADLINE - Thur., Sept. 14 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 24 minimum entries (12 per performance). No compensation. No slack. 60% permits; 20% first year cards; and any remaining positions will be filled by random draw. One go-round with the first and second place contestants each performance advancing to a bonus round during that same performance. If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round for each performance. Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, first place in the bonus round will be paid to the contestant with the highest score in the long go-round and all money paid out for the bonus round will count towards World Standings. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rule book. NOTE: In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2023 National Finals Rodeo or the 2023 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2023 rodeo year. Money won at this event will not count for All Around Standings, circuit standings, nor will the event be applied to a contestants required circuit participation count. STK.
