No stall reservations. All stalls for rodeo contestants available on first come first serve basis in the Kimble #1 building. No horses in portable stalls/panels for any reason. No horses tied to trailers overnight. No outside shavings allowed on fairgrounds. Any shavings should be received from grounds stall office. All contestants’ trailers must be parked in specific rodeo parking area. All contestants should enter fairgrounds at Gate #3, located on the north side of the fairgrounds, which is 1 block west of 3rd and Grand intersection. Horses that arrive without appropriate paperwork will not be permitted to unload . SR - Three go-rounds held during slack Wed., Sept. 20 at 9 AM. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. (The misdraw procedure will not be used). Stock charge $60 per go-round. TD, SW, TR - Approximately 10 contestants or teams will be placed in each performance. SLACK ORDER - Slack order on Thurs., Sept. 21 is TR, SW, TD. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB - 45 minimum entries. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re-entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing or a permit member. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Amarillo Tri-State Fair & Rodeo. To be eligible, the contestant must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past 3 years. Permit members of all ages are eligible to be accepted. ALL CONTESTANTS - Contestants will pay an additional entry fee of $300. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Amarillo Tri-State Fair & Rodeo will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the three go-rounds and the average after three go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. ALL CONTESTANTS - Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping.
