NOTE - In order for money won in the Xtreme Bulls competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) rodeos. Money won will count for 2022 PRCA World standings and 2023 Xtreme Bulls standings. It will not count for All Around standings, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. the X-Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the perf to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns out after the stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. FINALS STOCK: The order of the bulls to be used in the finals of an Xbulls Event will be randomly drawn by the judges and listed in order on the judges’ sheets prior to the first go-round of competition. The contestant with the lowest score will be listed first and the contestant with the highest score will be listed last with an animal already designated to the position. the order of any ties will be determined by a random draw by the judges. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. 30% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places. 20% of the total purse will be allocated to the final go-round, pays 6 places. 50% of the total purse will be allocated to the average, pays 8 places. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the first go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count toward PRCA World standings (provided the contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos), Xtreme Bulls Tour standings, and Rookie of the Year standings. Money won by a drawn back contestant in the finals will not count toward All Around standings, circuit standings, or toward a circuit rodeo count. ALL EVENTS - The “30-hour replacement” and “walk-up replacement” policies will be in effect. The check in deadline for this event will be one hour prior to the performance. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Mon., Sept. 26 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal.
