ALL CONTESTANTS - Enter Gate #3 (on Main Street between Lewis and Clark) with trailers to unload horses. Truck and trailer parking is offside on Main Street within one block of arena. TE - If a timed event animal escapes or a rerun is awarded for any other reason during a performance, the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the heard. Finals cut-off date will be September 30, 2023. All events plus year-end circuit dollars. Money above includes estimated committee purse of $7,500, estimated PRCA matching funds of $4,000, estimated sponsor dollar amount of $11,963, estimated $3 circuit dollar amount of TBD. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries Mon., Oct. 23 between 9 AM and 12 PM. Re-entries will be accepted if the number of entries for an event at the original entry closing time is less than limit defined in the ground rules. If more contestants enter during the “re-entry” period than there are positions available, the contestants accepted will be based on the qualification procedures defined in the Circuit Finals ground rules. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re-entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. If a contestant TO’s or DR’S prior to the “re-entry” period, that position may be filled during the “re-entry” period. ALL EVENTS - Mandatory contestant meeting in Freedom Hall Ballroom Nov. 9 at 4 PM. All events will pay four places in the go-rounds and average. RE: BB - Hand in rigging when previous horse leaves the arena. SB - Rein measured, back cinch pulled, and above horse when previous horse leaves the arena. BR - Hand in rope pulling when previous bull leaves the arena. ALL EVENTS - Failure to be ready when called will result in a $250 fine, progressively doubling thereafter. TE - Cattle will be prepared on Nov. 8 after arena preparation. TE - All horse and equipment change will occur outside the competition arena. If two go-rounds, the number of contestants accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. CONTESTANT SELECTION FORMULA - 100% top money. No exemptions. NOTIFY PROCOM - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. ALL CONTESTANTS - Each contestant must complete and sign a Rodeo Austin Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement and present it to the Rodeo Secretary prior to competition. ALL CONTESTANTS - Each contestant will be furnished with a Rodeo Austin back number, which must be worn and displayed in its entirety at all times in the competition arena.
