SR - 4 go-rounds plus a top 18 progressive round. The first 3 go-rounds will be run at 8 AM on Sat., Oct. 15 following the Breakaway Roping. The 4th go-round and the progressive round will be run at 9 AM on Sun., Oct. 16. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. STOCK CHARGE - $45 per go-round. Contestants who qualify for the progressive round will be charged an additional $45 stock charge. ATTENTION: The top six money winners in the steer roping event from the Bellville, TX, Hempstead, TX, and Edna, TX (combined total money) who enter and who have not already been accepted as entries among the top 24 who entered the San Angelo Roping Fiesta, based on 2022 PRCA World Steer Roping Standings, will be accepted as entries at the San Angelo Roping Fiesta. if ties result in more than six to advance, the tied contestant with the highest ranking in the 2022 World Standings will advance. Contestants are required to compete at a minimum of 15 PRCA rodeos for the money won at this event to count towards 2023 PRCA World Standings or 2023 Rookie of the Year Standings. Money will count towards circuit standings and this event will be applied towards the contestant’s required circuit participation count. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around Standings. STK. To be eligible, the contestant must have not been an NFSR qualifier during the past five years. Permit members of all ages will also be eligible to enter. Contestants will pay an additional entry fee of $400. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the South Texas Classic Steer Roping Event will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the four go- rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. 16-9:00 AM EVENTS: SR PERMITS: SR GROUND RULES: Contestants who chose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing or a permit member. They must also be entered in the steer

ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Tue., Sept. 27 between 9 AM and 12 PM. Re-entries will be accepted if the number of entries for an event at the original entry closing time is less than limit defined in the ground rules. If more contestants enter during the “re-entry” period than there are positions available, the contestants accepted will be based on the qualification procedures defined in the Circuit Finals ground rules. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re- entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. If a contestant TO’s or DR’s prior to the “re-entry” period, that position may be filled during the “re-entry” period. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. TE - If a timed event animal escapes or a re-run is given for any other reason, the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. ALL EVENTS - Will pay four places in go-rounds and average. ALL EVENTS - Three go-rounds. QUALIFICATIONS: Top 12. COMPLETE CIRCUIT FINALS GROUND RULES can be found under member services online. All contestants are required to attend back number party on Thursday, October 13th to be held at the arena concessions area. Failure to attend will require contestant to purchase contestant jacket. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, Circuit Standings, All Around Standings, money won qualifications, or Permit Standings. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. (NFSR qualifiers will not be eligible for the Legacy
