XTREME BULLS

2024: FROST TURNS OUT AT FINALE, WINS X-BULLS TOUR Josh Frost entered the Pendleton Whisky Xtreme Bulls Finale with a fairly comfortable lead in the tour standings and a slim advantage in the PRCA | RAM Bull Riding World Standings. The Randlett, Utah, cowboy did what he needed to do to earn the championship, finishing with $95,385 to take the top spot by almost $10,000. But the trip to Pendleton, Ore., came at a price. Frost tore his rotator cuff and

labrum in his left shoulder on the first night and turned out of the competition on the final day. “I’ve just got to get ready for Vegas,” Frost told the PRORODEO Sports News. “I’m going to slow down the rodeos and focus on getting the shoulder right and going to Vegas at 100 percent. Hopefully, we’ll have a strong ten days and get that gold buckle.” Clayton Sellars finished second in the Xtreme Bulls Tour Standings with $85,795 and Jace Trosclair took third with $61,093. 2024: BOQUET WINS PENDLETON WHISKY XTREME BULLS FINALE Dustin Boquet entered the Pendleton Whisky Xtreme Bulls Finale with a lot of ground to make up. The 30-year-old rolled up to Pendleton, Ore., with just over $85,000 to his name and needed a big week to push himself back into contention for a berth to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo presented by Teton Ridge. Boquet knew what he needed to do and capitalized on it with 260.5 points on three head to win the average title, pocket $24,072 and take a step toward a trip to Las Vegas. “This means a bunch to me,” Boquet told the PRORODEO Sports News. “I came here, kept my head down and did my job. I remembered to go back to the basics and have fun. I haven’t been having much fun through the summer and haven’t been riding good.
