What’s one rodeo you want to win before your career is over? Jensen: RodeoHouston, Calgary Stampede or both. What’s your favorite movie? Jensen: Young Guns. What’s your go-to restaurant before or after a rodeo? Jensen: Pepperoni pizza or Subway. What’s the first vehicle you drove? Jensen: An old single-cab

Jensen wasted no time carrying that momentum into 2026, opening his campaign with a title at the Waller County Fair & Rodeo in Hempstead, Texas, where an 85-point ride earned him $4,694. He continued his early-season surge by capturing the Boot Barn Texas Circuit Finals Rodeo average championship in Waco at 256.5 points on three head. How’d you get your start in rodeo? Jensen: I grew up in a rodeo family. I started
out in timed events, and then going into the seventh grade I started riding bulls and I liked it a lot more than the timed events side of rodeo. When did you know you could make a career out of rodeo? Jensen: I worked a summer job one time, and I didn’t like working for other people.

So I figured that I could try my best to ride bulls and be the best I could with it. Why did you decide bull riding would be your event? Jensen : Well, in the timed events, I didn’t like practic ing. It just wasn’t fun for me. The adrenaline wasn’t there and whenever I started
