Franks, who entered the week No. 47 in the PRCA | Bill Fick Ford World Standings added $6,416 to his bank account by winning Pecos. He moved up to 39th with $28,375. “It still hurts every now and then,” he said of his left hip. “That’s just part of it. It’s going to hurt from time to time.” It’s not just the physical limitations that come into. Getting back into the game requires a strong mental ap proach. He found it. “You get to fighting your head a little bit, especially coming back from an injury,” Franks said. “The body feels great, and I just have to remember that.”
