We’re proud to continue to grow this program by honoring the history and legacy of the NFR’s great champions and con tributors in Las Vegas.” For each icon, LVE will develop a promotional cam paign to promote the two legends and build a daily activation calendar to build anticipation for the ceremony inside the Thomas & Mack Center that evening. PRCA BOARD OF DIRECTORS, PRORODEO HALL OF FAME TRUSTEES VOTE IN FAVOR OF RELOCATION TO CHEYENNE, WYO. The PRCA Board of Directors and the ProRodeo Hall of Fame Trustees held a joint meeting to review the next step with Cheyenne LEADS and voted in favor of moving forward. This step follows the January signing of a non-binding memorandum of understanding to explore relocating the PRCA offices and the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Muse um of the American Cowboy to Cheyenne, Wyo. Recently, Cheyenne LEADS, the PRCA Board of Direc tors and the Hall of Fame Trustees formalized the part nership with the signing of a Development Agreement between the parties on the project. The target for com pletion is still early 2029 and additional timeline details are being formed. “As the PRCA celebrates our 90th year as the premier sanctioning body in Western sports, this is an exciting evolution that will give our membership the best chance at success for the next 50 years,” PRCA CEO Tom Glause said. Over the last three months, the Wyoming State Legisla ture, Cheyenne City Officials and Cheyenne LEADS have continued to codify funding for the project. The Wyo ming legislative approval allowed the parties to move into the next phase of discussions. In addition, this milestone allows project partners to begin pursuing additional fundraising efforts to support the overall development of the Hitching Post District. “I’m incredibly excited about the next phases of this project and the opportunity to build on the strong foun dation we’ve created,” said Betsey Hale, CEO of Chey enne LEADS. “There’s great momentum, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead.” EIGHT-TIME PRCA WORLD CHAMPION FRED WHITFIELD JOINS LEGENDARY VOICE OF RODEO BOB TALLMAN AS 2026 VEGAS NFR ICONS Las Vegas Events announced April 29, that two Vegas NFR Icons will be honored at the 2026 Wrangler Nation al Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. The next group of distin guished Vegas NFR Icons includes eight-time PRCA World Champion Fred Whitfield and legendary announc er/contributor Bob Tallman. The Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas will run from Thurs day, Dec. 3 through Saturday, Dec. 12. During the Dec. 4 and 5 performances, each of the Vegas NFR Icons will be honored on the hallowed dirt of the Thomas & Mack
