Frontier Days, which had hosted a Professional Bull Riding event at night during the Daddy of ‘Em All for years, decided to host an Xtreme Bulls

during Frontier Nights instead. Cheyenne (Wyo.) Frontier Days Xtreme Bulls proved an immediate success with more than $100,000 in added money in each of its first two installments. It joined Bulls Night Out in Fort Worth, Texas, Ellensburg (Wash.) Xtreme Bulls and the Xtreme Bulls Finale as one of four Xtreme Bulls events paying out more than six figures.
