arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2019 money won. (Only contestants that were drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates). A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2020 National Finals Rodeo or the 2020 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2020 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. Contestants who qualify for the Playoff round will be allowed to trade with the other contestants through the rodeo secretary until 30 minutes after the completion of the 12th performance. The top 8 contestants or teams based on highest scores or fastest times in the Playoff round will advance to the Finals on Saturday, March 28. If there are not 8 qualified rides in the riding events or qualified times in the timed events, contestants will be advanced based on highest scores or fastest times from the first go-round (Qualifying round). In the case that there is a tie resulting in more than 8 contestants, the contestant with the single highest score or fastest time from the Qualifying round will advance. If still tied, a random draw by the judges will determine who will advance. In the case that there are no qualified rides or times in an event in the Finals, the event winner (for bonuses and prizes) will be determined by the highest combined score from the two previous go-rounds in the riding events or the fastest combined time from the two previous go-rounds in the timed events. ALL EVENTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the Playoff round or finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release or visible injury release through ProCom, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the advancement procedure may be placed in that available position. (Non-notified turn- outs and visible injury releases after the turn-out deadline will not be replaced). If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position, the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. In the riding events, if an animal has already been drawn for a contestant who turned-out, the replacement contestant will be drawn an animal from a pool consisting of all animals that have been turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s), and the first available designated re- ride for the performance.
