Kent Soule photo Saddle bronc rider Layton Green won the High Desert Stampede in Redmond, Ore., with an 87-point ride on Bridwell Pro Rodeos’ Beaver Bend. Green earned $4,258 for the victory. Redmond pay window stampede Minnesota bull rider Reid Oftedahl made his long trip to Redmond, Ore., pay off by winning the High Desert Stampede. He earned a rodeo-best $5,349 at the key stop on the NFR Playoff Series presented by Pendleton Whisky. 42
