is partnering with Liga Nacional de Rodeio and Festa do Peão de Barretos in Barretos, Brazil, and Shawn and Shana Graham of Painted Pony Championship Rodeo to host

Brazilian athletes this summer. This hosting venture is intended to assist international professional athletes in creating a pathway to compete in the PRCA in the USA and build long-term opportunities for developing countries while diversifying and expanding the sport of rodeo globally through multi-faceted training. The initiative is also intended to create, develop, and expand the pool of future generational athletes. The first group of 12 cowboys will come from Barretos, Brazil, through a qualification system. There will be four athletes in each of the three roughstock events, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding and bull riding. “The ultimate goal is to create some roughstock contestants and roughstock entries,” PRCA CEO TomGlause said. “The Brazilians have had tremendous success with the bull riding, and we think given the
