If splits result in more than 12, a random draw will determine which contestants will compete in the performance (will not exceed 12) and which will compete in slack. The competition order of ties from the first go- round will also be determined by random draw. If there are not 12 qualified times from the first go-round to fill the performance, the remaining positions will be filled based on the reverse order of the first go- round positions (Only contestants who competed in first go-round will be placed in the performance). The remaining contestants (not placed in the performance) will run their second go- round during slack immediately following the completion of the first go-round in reverse order of their first go-round positions. If the 8th place is tied going into the finals, the tie will be broken by random draw. QUALIFICATIONS: Based on 2017 blended CPRA and PRCA standings. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out, DR or visible release and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. If the contestant that notified the turn- out or visible release is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fee. If a contestant property doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round, a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the first go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count towards PRCA World standings, PRCA Xtreme Bulls standings, and PRCA Rookie of the Year standings provided that the contestant entered and competed in a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos. NOTE: In order for money won at an Xtreme Bulls competition to count for the 2018 National Finals Rodeo or the 2018 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2018 season a contestant must have competed at a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for 2018 PRCA World standings and 2018 Xtreme Bulls standings. It will not count for All Around or All American standings.
