See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. FORMAT - One go-round with a top 3 Shoot Out round during the same performance. Any ties for the top 3 positions will be broken by random draw. (If there are less than three qualified times or rides in the long round, random draw will determine who advances to the Shoot Out round in the empty positions. QUALIFICATIONS - Ten (10) entries based on 2019 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closing). No exemptions. In the Team Roping, the top 10 headers that enter (based on 2019 money won) that qualify must rope with the top 10 heelers that enter (based on 2019 money won) that qualify. If a contestant’s partner is drawn out due to qualification, the contestant who qualified will not be allowed to draw out. A replacement partner will be drawn at random from the other contestants whose partners were drawn out due to qualifications. If an incomplete team, that next contestant in the corresponding category (header or heeler) on the alternate list will be added to the team. If a notification is not made prior to the 30- hour deadline, the remaining partner may select another partner from among any of the PRCA event contestants already entered at the rodeo, except those schedule to compete in the team roping. RIDING EVENTS - If there are no qualified times in the Shoot Out round, pay-off will be based on scores from the long round. TIMED EVENTS - If there are no qualified times in Shoot Out round, pay- off will be based on times from the long round. PAY-OFF FOR THE FINALS - 1st place - $10,000; 2nd place $3,000; 3rd place $2,000 (per man in the TR) based on highest scores or fastest times in the Shoot Out round. If there are not 3 qualified scores or times in the Shoot Out round, the remaining placings will be based on highest scores or fastest times in the long go-rounds. Total of $15,000. There will be no pay-out for the long go-round. Only money paid out to a contestant without a qualified score or time in either go-round will be considered ground money. All other money won will count for PRCA World Standings, but will not count for circuit standings. This event will not count towards a circuit participation count. STK. PERMITS: BR GROUND RULES: ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Thurs., Aug. 29 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 50 minimum entries. (may be two go-rounds, back to back, same performance, depending on the number of entries). If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. IN ORDER OF SELECTION : - 70% top money - 30% top circuit NOTIFY PROCOM : Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2018 rodeo year. No medical exemptions will be accepted for events whose entries close on or after July 15. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2019 money won, as of 7 days prior to entry closing. (Only contestants that were drawn out due to qualification or conflicts will be selected as alternates). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the perf to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. The pay-off will be determined on the highest marked scores. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2019 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World standings and Xtreme Bulls standings. It will not count for All Around standings, and circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Lewiston Roundup. To be eligible, the contestant must be a card member (no permits) and contestants with no money won must have entered and competed in the steer roping event at a minimum of 7 PRCA rodeos (or events) during the 2018 rodeo year and the 2019 rodeo year combined (as of entry closing time) and also exempt will be any NFSR qualifiers. Contestants will pay an additional entry fees of $200. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Lewiston Roundup will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the two go- rounds and the average after two go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping.
