Bareback rider Cole Reiner has been on a torrid winning spree since mid-June – and that trend continued in Salt Lake City. The Wyoming cowboy claimed the gold medal at the Days of ’47 Rodeo with his 88.5-point ride on Sankey Rodeo’s Shoutin’ Shoes. “This is a great deal,” Reiner said. “Whenever you ride against the guys that were here and get the win at the end is awesome. To be part of a crew with Kaycee (Feild) and Mason (Clements) and travel together is great. We push each other and I feel like the momentum has really been on our side. We have been rolling through the summer starting in Reno (Nev.). We are going to carry it on through the rest of the year and hopefully at the

National Finals.” Reiner said the most recent turning point for him came at the World’s Oldest Rodeo in Prescott, Ariz., a rodeo which ended on the Fourth of July. Reiner won the rodeo with an 88.5-point ride on Championship Pro Rodeo’s Pass The Hat. “Richmond Champion and I were just starting out at Prescott and I told his wife that I was really going to push the limit of my abilities in the next month (in July),” Reiner said. “I feel like I have never been more focused and more dialed-in and more on top of my game than I am right now.”
