SHORT ROUND 2021 Wrangler NFR will start performances earlier Get Ready!

T he ProRodeo Cowboys Association® and Las Vegas Events announced recently the 2021 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo® will start at 5:45 p.m. PST/8:45 p.m. EST. The Wrangler NFR, which returns to the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas Dec. 2-11, will feature the top 120 contestants in the world for a 10-day competition to determine the winners of the coveted PRCA Gold Buckle and a share of the $10.257 million purse. In its previous 35 years in Las Vegas, total attendance has reached nearly 6

million fans.

In 2019, the event had a total attendance of 168,289 over the 10 days of competition at the Thomas & Mack Center and has sold out more than 330 consecutive performances in Las Vegas. The Cowboy Channel is the official network partner of ProRodeo and the exclusive broadcast and streaming partner of the Wrangler NFR. In March, the PRCA, Pendleton Round- Up and Happy Canyon jointly announced the Pendleton Whisky Xtreme Bulls Tour Finale presented by Banner Bank, which crowns the Xtreme Bulls Tour champion, will take place in conjunction with the historic Pendleton Round-Up in eastern Oregon, scheduled for Sept. 11-18. One of North America’s most iconic rodeos, the Pendleton Round-Up is a major stop on the ProRodeo Tour. The Pendleton Whisky Xtreme Bulls Tour Finale will be held in Pendleton’s scenic Happy Canyon Arena Sept. 13-14. The Pendleton Whisky Xtreme Bulls Finale will pay out $110,000, making it a key step along the road to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo® held in Las Vegas in December. Taking its name from the Pendleton Round-Up and featuring the rodeo’s famous “Let ‘er Buck” slogan and red

The Tour Finale will take place at California Rodeo Salinas Sept. 23-26 and will punch tickets to the Wrangler NFR for a majority of ProRodeo athletes. The Pendleton Whisky Xtreme Bulls Tour Finale and the ProRodeo Tour presented by Pendleton Whisky will air exclusively on The Cowboy Channel and stream live on the PRCA on Cowboy Channel Plus App.
