The 32-year-old San Diego, Calif., native who has long called Douglas, Wyo., home heads into the final two months of

the season with a chance to make a name for himself. McIntyre stood 30th in the PRCA | RAMWorld Standings with $24,447 and third in his circuit with $6,480 as of Aug. 3 after a strong spring and early summer.
