HOT TAKES Wade Sundell, the 2018 saddle bronc riding world champion, returned to action for the first time in nearly a year at Iowa’s Championship Rodeo in Sidney, July 28. And what a return it was. Sundell,

who was injured Aug. 24, 2019, and hadn’t competed until Sidney, tied for the win with an 84.5-point ride on Fettig Pro Rodeo’s U B Rockin. Sundell took home $2,660, as did Logan Hay who equaled Sundell’s score while aboard Cervi Championship Rodeo’s Roller Coaster.
