entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2017 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2017 rodeo year. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: PROCOM will establish an alternate list, based on 2017 money won as of 7 days prior to entry closing. (Only contestants drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X- Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at the time of entry may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. The rodeo will not count toward the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If the contestant that notified the turn-out is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count. Any non-notified turn-out will be responsible for entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count, even if he is replaced. The alternate will also be responsible for entry fees. If a contestant properly doctor releases, he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn two hours prior to each performance. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAYOFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2018 National Finals Rodeo or the 2018 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2018 season a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for 2018 PRCA World Standings and 2018 Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around standings, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. The top 32 contestants (or teams) in each event will advance to a progressive go-round held during the performances held in the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX on April 26-29 (8 per performance). TD, SW, TR - If a contestant who qualifies for the progressive round turns-out, DR’s, or VIR’s through PROCOM, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the average may be placed in that available position. (Non- notified TO’s or VIR’s after the turn- out deadline will not be replaced). If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position, the next highest ranked may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. All replacements will be made by PROCOM. TD, SW, TR - If a timed event animal escaped, or a re-run is due for any other reason during a performance, the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd .
