QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 48 minimum entries W/F’s (12) $5000 held out for the finals. No compensation. No slack. TD, SW, TR - 70 minimum entries (or teams) (60 from top money, 10 from top circuit.) W/F’s (12). Two go-rounds, back to back, slack to slack, or slack to perf. The first go-round of each back to back group will be run during the afternoon slack on the day of the performance. The 12 fastest times from the first go-round will compete during the performance (slowest time will run first, fastest time will run last). If splits result in more than 12, a random draw will determine which contestants will compete in the performance (will not exceed 12) and which will compete in slack. The competition order of ties from the first go-round will also be determined by random draw. If there are not 12 qualified times from the first go-round to fill the performance, the remaining positions will be filled based on the reverse order of the first go- round positions (Only contestants who competed in first go-round will be placed in the performance). The remaining contestants (not placed in the performance) will run their second go-round during slack immediately following the completion of the first go-round in reverse order of their first go- round positions. Original and a copy of the laboratory report of a negative equine infectious anemia (EIA) test conducted after April 14, 2018 which clearly identifies the equine animal by registration number, lip tattoo or a complete description of the equine animal. 2. Original and a copy of the certificate of veterinary inspection issued within 30 days of the Midwest Horse Fair if you are coming from a state other than WI or MN. If the above paperwork is not provided, the contestant will not be allowed on the grounds. STK.
