While on the Happy Canyon Board, he has served as bar director, publicity director and properties director. In addition to selecting Hansell as Happy Canyon’s new president, the board also elected two new board members to fill vacant positions from retiring members: Brian Currin as the new court director and Chris Stuvland as the new grounds director. On Jan. 26, the Rapid City (S.D.) Rush, which plays in the East Coast Hockey League, is hosting Rodeo Night at The Monument where the Rush will be decked out in rodeo-themed jerseys. Before the game at 4:30 p.m. (MT), fans can meet rodeo stars. The game starts that night at 7 against the Idaho Steelheads “It’s going to be a meet and greet at that, with all the special guests, some more special guests are going to be announced here this week and there’s going to be rodeo champions past and present there, you know, rodeo queens in attendance and really just kind of trying to bring the atmosphere of a rodeo and combine it with the hockey game,” Rapid City Rush Media Relations manager Brian Gardner said. Rodeo Rapid City is Feb. 3-5.
