XTREME BULLS FORT WORTH, TEXAS Boquet wins first Division 1 Xtreme Bulls event Air Time

BY TRACY RENCK D ustin Boquet didn’t hang around for the second night of the SWELS – Xtreme Bulls in Fort Worth. The Louisiana bull rider who led after the first day of the first Division 1 X Bulls event of the 2020 season knew he could watch the second performance onThe Cowboy Channel. And that’s what he did, watching and hoping his lead would stand. By the end of the broadcast, Boquet had his first Division 1 Xtreme Bulls victory. Boquet’s score of 175 points on two head held through the second night of the event Jan. 22 at the plush, new Dickies Arena. “It was a little nerve-wracking watching (Wednesday’s event) on TV,” Boquet said. “I would never go against my buddies. All I did was do my job and stayed on my bulls, and I got the job done. This win feels good.” Boquet entered the Division 1 event fifth in the 2020 PRCA | RAMWorld Standings with $11,512. After earning $13,555, Boquet moved to first in the standings. “This has always been a goal of mine

In the short round, Boquet climbed aboard Stace Smith Pro Rodeos’ Cow Banger. Boquet is trying to bounce back after an injury- marred 2019 season.
