2018 World Standings or the 2018 Rookie of the Year standings. Money will count towards circuit standings and the rodeo will count towards a circuit count. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around standings or All American standings. STK. CONT.: VARIOUS

round (Qualifying round) will consist of the first 12 performances (8 contestants per performance per event). The top 16 contestants (or teams) based on highest scores or fastest times will advance to the Playoff round, which consists of the 13th and the 14th performances on March 22 and 23 (8 contestants or teams per performance). If there are not 16 qualified rides in the riding events or qualified times in the timed events, a random draw will determine which contestants will advance to the Playoff round. In the case that there are ties resulting in more than 16 contestants to advance to the Playoff round, a random draw by the judges will determine which contestants advance. The draw order for each performance will be: highest ranked will draw first, lowest will draw last. In all events, the 16 contestants who qualify for the Playoff round will be placed in compliance to R2.5 (pertaining to progressive go-rounds). Contestants who qualify for the Playoff round will be allowed to trade with the other contestants through the rodeo secretary until 30 minutes after the completion of the 12th performance. The top 8 contestants or teams based on highest scores or fastest times in the Playoff round will advance to the Finals on Saturday, March 24. If there are not 8 qualified rides in the riding events or qualified times in the timed events, contestants will be advanced based on highest scores or fastest times from the first go-round (Qualifying round). In the case that there is a tie resulting in more than 8 contestants, the contestant with the single highest score or fastest time from the Qualifying round will advance. If still tied, a random draw by the judges will determine who will advance. In the case that there are no qualified rides or times in an event in the Finals, the event winner (for bonuses and prizes) will be determined by the highest combined score from the two previous go-rounds in the riding events or the fastest combined time from the two previous go-rounds in the timed events. ALL EVENTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the Playoff round or finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release or visible injury release through ProCom, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the advancement procedure may be placed in that available position. (Non-notified turn- outs and visible injury releases after the turn-out deadline will not be replaced). If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position, the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. In the riding events, if an animal has already been drawn for a contestant who turned-out, the replacement contestant will be drawn an animal from a pool consisting of all animals that have been turned- out (includes DR’s and VIR’s), and the first available designated re- ride for the performance. PAY-OFF: There will be no pay-off for the “average.” Money won at Rodeo Austin will not count towards Texas circuit standings. If there are less than 96 entries in an event or if there are any increase or decrease in the amount of money in the pay-off due to doctor’s releases that are not replaced ( which would decrease the amount of entry fee money) or a replacement for a notified turn-out (which would increase the amount of entry fee money), the adjustment will be made in the first go- round pay-off, and the pay-off for the Playoff round and the Finals will remain as listed.
