more than 51 years before being separated by her death Oct. 14, 2019. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a sheriff, a rancher, a horse trader and a cowboy. Walker was a unique individual. A gruff cowboy, he wished everything to be done a specific, certain way. Peggy was even more certain and determined. They built a cowboy life together that they treasured. For six years, he and Peggy resided in King County, where Bob was employed by the 6666 Ranch and served one term as sheriff. He and Peggy were also active in the Pecos community and rodeo family. Walker and Peggy loved the Saragosa and Pecos communities and received much love and support in return. The care of special angels and friends there made it possible for them to remain at their cherished Saragosa homestead a bit longer. That meant the world to them, and the family wishes to thank those loving friends from the bottom of their hearts. Walker wished for his obituary to be unconventional and focus on his and Peggy’s shared adventures. He wanted no funeral services, but to be cremated as Peggy was and for his and Peggy’s comingled ashes to be scattered at their family plot in Rotan, near the foothills of the Double Mountains. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West
