A New Breed Stetson flexes bull riding skills with St. Paul win BY SCOTT KANIEWSKI W hen StetsonWright was a kid – not all that long ago really – he used to plead his case to his family not to leave after the saddle bronc riding competition. All Wright wanted to do was sit and watch the bull riding. But with a family filled with famous saddle bronc riders who had to get down the road to the next rodeo, Wright had to go where the family went. Now, the family is waiting on him – to finish competing in bull riding. On the final night of the five-day, St. Paul (Ore.) Rodeo, Wright notched a 91-point ride on Big Stone Rodeo Inc’s Mortimer. The ride scored Wright $10,138. “It was crazy,” saidWright, who is on his PRCA permit. “I’ve never been in a crowd that big. It was super loud in there, and the victory lap was even cooler. Everything about it was amazing.”
