Wrangler NFR Fan Contest ongoing

One rodeo committee will be chosen to win a Massey Ferguson® tractor valued at $35,000 for the good work it does. One applicant for the Sowing Good Deeds initiative is the ABC Pro Rodeo in Lubbock, Texas. The ABC Pro Rodeo committee is made up of eight individuals committed to a five-year term. The rodeo began 77 years ago with the No. 1 goal to support the Lubbock Boys Club. The Boys and Girls club is still the rodeo’s main charity, but it also donates to Susan G. Komen, Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity to name a few. The biggest impact the rodeo has had on the local community is that it has donated more than $2 million to the Lubbock Boys and Girls Club. The Lubbock Memorial Coliseum was the rodeo’s home for nearly 60 years. However, after the rodeo in April the Lubbock Memorial Coliseum was torn down. The ABC Pro Rodeo will be temporarily held at the Mallet Event Center in Levelland, Texas, (about 20 miles away). There are talks for an event center in Lubbock, but nothing is set in stone. The ABC Pro Rodeo committee donates everything it makes, and despite all the uncertainties of a new venue, the rodeo committee will continue its mission to give back to the community. the promotion will be directed to PRCA Headquarters, not Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. The contest is open to legal residents of their respective countries where not prohibited by law, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry who have Internet access and a valid e-mail account before the beginning of the contest period. The PRCA has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant. All eligible entries received will be gathered into a database. A finalist will be chosen by the sole discretion of the selection committee. By participating, each entrant grants PRCA permission to use his/her name, likeness or comments for publicity purposes without payment of additional consideration, except where prohibited by law.
