NOTE - In order for money won in this competition to count for the 2018 National Finals Rodeo or the 2018 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2018 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for the PRCA World standings. Money won in the BR at this event will count towards 2019 Xbulls standings. In all events money won will not count for All Around, All American, or circuit standings. The event will not be applied to the contestants required circuit standings, as long as the contestant has satisfied his required circuit participation count. COMPETITION FORMAT: SB, BR - 34 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. Approximately 17 contestants in each event will compete each performance with the top 6 (will not exceed 6) advancing to a finals, during each performance. CONTESTANT SELECTION FORMULA: SB - 70% from top money, 20% from top circuit, 10% top first year. No compensation. No slack. No exemptions. BR - 80% top money, 10% top circuit, 10% top first year. No compensation. No slack. No exemptions. NOTIFY PROCOM - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry or as an alternate at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as this event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at this event is 1 hour prior to start of the event. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. HONEST EFFORT - At any event, a contestant must make an honest effort to compete on the stock drawn for such contestant. If in the opinion of the judge, the contestant has the opportunity to not for the bronc or bull and does not, the contestant will be disqualified. The determination of the judge will be final. SB, BR - If there are not 6 qualified rides during a performance, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count towards PRCA World standings. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: SB: 6% of the total purse will be deducted prior to the pay-off. Of the remaining purse 60% will be allocated to the long go-round (pays 8 places) and 40% will be allocated to the finals (pays 4 places). No average pay-off in SB. BR - 6% of the total purse will be deducted prior to the pay-off. 30% will be allocated to the long go-round (pays8 places), 20% will be allocated to the finals (pays 6 places) and 50% will be allocated to the average (pays 8 places). The pay-off for the long go- round, the finals and the average will be determined by the highest scores from both combined performances, In the BR, contestants who did not have a qualified ride in the long
