PERMITS: SB GROUND RULES: ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Thurs., Aug. 2 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. ALL CONTESTANTS - The “30-hour replacement” rule and the “walk-up replacement” policy will be in effect. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT: 24 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. One go-round with a Top 8 finals. CONTESTANT SELECTION FORMULA: 70% top money, 20% top circuit, 10% top first year. No exemptions. ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Broncs Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Broncs Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at Xtreme Broncs Events is 1 hour prior to start of the event. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ number in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. PAY-OFF: 6% of total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with results. Of the remaining purse 60% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places, 40% of the total purse will be allocated to the final go-rounds, pays 4 places. There will be no average pay-off. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULEBOOK. NOTE: Money won at Xtreme Broncs Events will count towards qualification for the 2018 National Finals Rodeo and the 2018 Rookie of the Year Standings, as long as the contestant has entered and competed in a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos. Money won will also count for Circuit Standings as long as the contestant has satisfied his required circuit participation count. X-Broncs events are not applied to the required circuit participation count. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around Standings or All American Standings. STK. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count toward PRCA World standings (provided the contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos), Xtreme Bulls Tour standings, and Rookie of the Year standings. Money won by a drawn back contestant in the finals will not count toward All Around standings, All American standings, circuit standings, or toward a circuit rodeo count. NOTE - In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2018 National Finals Rodeo or the 2018 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2018 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos.
