QUALIFICATIONS: BB & SB - 80 minimum entries. No compensation. There will be two go-rounds, back to back, perf to perf. W/F’s (12 plus splits to 16). $5,000 held out for finals. No slack. BR - 96 minimum entries. No compensation. 80% top money, 20% top circuit. There will be two go-rounds, back to back, perf to perf. W/F’s (16). $6,000 held out for finals. No day money. No slack. If there are not enough contestants in the current year money category to fill the allotted circuit positions, the remaining positions will be filled with contestants from the previous year circuit money won category. TD - 150 minimum entries. 30’ score. Hand pull barrier will be used. Two go- rounds, back to back. W/F’s (top 12 plus splits to 16). Fresh animals will be used in finals. The top 30 contestants (based on 2018 money won) as of 7 days prior to entry closing time will be placed in the July 23-28 performances (3rd through 8th perfs) and compete back to back, perf to perf (10 per performance). The remaining contestants will either compete during the first two performances, July 21 and 22 (back to back, perf to perf) or during the slacks Wed, July 18 and Thurs, July 19 (back to back, slack to slack). Extra cattle will not be exhibitioned or tied. There will be a $30 total stock charge per contestant, R11.3.19 will be waived in TD, (tie down ropers may compete from either box). SW - 167 minimum entries. 30’ score. Hand pulled barrier will be used. Two go-rounds, back to back, slack to slack or perf to perf. W/F’s (top 12 plus splits to 16). Rule R11.7.9 is waived. SW - It’s the contestant’s responsibility to verify his competition order after splits have been made. To accommodate splits, contestants may be moved into a different section. TR - 150 minimum teams. 30’ score. Hand pull barrier will be used. Any past NFR qualifiers in the TR event will be accepted as exemptions (partner must qualify or be exempt). Contestants with no money won in 2017 or 2018 who have entered will not be accepted as entries. Two go-rounds, back to back. W/F’s (top 12 plus splits to 16). The top 30 positions (based on 2018 money won) as of 7 days prior to entry closing will be placed in the July 23-28 performances (3rd through 8th perfs) and compete back to back, perf to perf (10 per performance). The remaining teams will either compete during the first two perfs, July 21 and July 22 (back to back, perf to perf), or during slack on Thurs., July 19 (back to back, both go- rounds will be run during slack on July 19), or slack on Mon., July 23. No more than 20 teams will be placed the slack on Monday, July 23 (back to back, both go-rounds will be run during slack on July 23). Teams must enter from back of the box. Only two loops allowed. Permit holders will not be allowed to enter with a card holder or permit holder. After team competes on a given steer, they must release their steer and not impede his progress to the stripping chute (which means no stopping or switching the direction of the steer). Violation of this rule is subject to a $100 fine . SR - 150 minimum entries. 30’ score. Any past NFSR qualifiers will be accepted as exemptions in the SR event. Contestants with no money won in 2017 or 2018, who have entered the SR event at less than 7 rodeos in 2017 and 2018 combined will not be accepted as entries. Hand pull barrier will be used. Two go-rounds all run in slack on July 17 (except for the finals). W/F’s (top 12 plus splits to 16). Fresh steers will be used in the finals on July 29. There will be a stock charge of $50 per go- round (total of $100 per contestant). ALL EVENTS - For advancement to the finals, if 12th place is split resulting in more than 16, ties will be broken (not to exceed 16) based on single fastest times or highest scores in the first or second go-round. ALL EVENTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release, or visible injury release through PROCOM, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the average may be placed in that available position. (Non-notified turn- outs and visible injury releases after the turn-out deadline will not be replace). If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position, the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. In the riding events, if an animals has already been drawn for a contestant who turned-out, the

companion allowed gate access. ALL CONTESTANTS - Every entry must pick up his/her number and sign a release at the contestant office prior to competing. ALL EVENTS - The “30-hour replacement rule” will be in effect. See Rodeo Entry Information page of Business Journal. BB, SB, BR - The “walk-up replacement rule” will be in effect. See Rodeo Entry Information section of Business Journal. TRADE DEADLINE - Fri., July 13 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. ALL CONTESTANTS - Due to limited parking, the number of contestants, and the size of contestant vehicles, contestants must vacate grounds after their second go-round of competition. Parking passes will only be valid for days of competition. Please check with rodeo office for other local accommodations with stalls and camping facilities, if necessary for extended parking. ADDITIONAL EXEMPTIONS: 2015-2017 Cheyenne winners in the event they are entering and 2015-2017 Cheyenne All- Around winners. ALL EVENTS - A contestant not ready when called during a performance or section of slack will be fined $100 and /or may be disqualified from that go- round in which the offense is committed. RE - Re-ride animals will be used in the following order: 1. Designated re- rides for that performance. 2. Available unused animals (notified turn-outs, visible injuries, and doctor releases) for that performance. 3. Available unused animals (notified & non-notified turn- outs, visible injuries, and doctor releases) from previous performances. RE - If a contestant needs to be moved due to qualifying for the finals at another PRCA rodeo, he will be moved to the first available position in his event. If the contestant is already scheduled to compete in the performance to which he was moved or if both go- rounds are being moved, he will compete on his first animal in the first section and his second go-round animal in the last section of the same performance. STALLS - A limited number of horse stalls are available and will be in specified barns on a first come, first serve basis for entered contestants. Anyone altering the stall dividers will be ejected from the stall barns. TE - There will be a $75 charge for every notified and non-notified turn-out for the first go-round of SW & SR, and a $50 charge in for the first go-round of the TD (does not include DR’s and V.I.R’s). TE - If a timed event animal escapes (or a re-run is given for any other reason) the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. The misdraw procedure will not be used. An order of extras will be drawn from the sleepers and/or designated extras. Cheyenne reserves the right to set the timed event herds with the approval of the field flag judge and event representative. TE - Rule 11.1.2.1 will be waived (pertaining to T.E. chute gate). TE - Any contestant that must be moved due to a finals at conflicting PRCA rodeo will be moved to the first available position in the corresponding go-round that is affected. That contestant will draw his animal last but will compete first. TE - The timed event cattle may be drawn the evening prior to the slack or performance, but not posted til one hour prior to the slack or performance. All timed event stock draws will be posted at Chute 9 only. TE - Pens of animals for all performances and slacks may be drawn prior to the beginning of the first performance or first slack as long as there is one animal for every entry plus adequate extras. ALL CONTESTANTS - Contestants must wear their own numbers on their back at all times while competing. Hazer numbers will be available at the Contestant Office only. TE - If there are not enough contestants in the current year circuit money won category to fill the allotted circuit positions, the remaining positions will be filled with contestants from the previous year circuit money won category. This applies to the circuit qualifications only.
