TD, SW, TR - Two go-rounds. Back to back. The first go-round of each back to back group will be run during slack at 8:00 AM each morning (June 27-30). The contestants with the top 12 fastest times from the first go-round will be placed in the performance (slowest time will run first, fastest time will run last). The number of contestants placed in the performance will not exceed 12. If splits result in more than 12, a random draw will determine which contestants will compete in the performance and which will compete in the slack. The order of competition of ties from the first go-round will also be determined by random draw. If there are not 12 qualified times from the first go-round to fill the performance, the remaining positions will be filled by contestants based on the reverse order of their first go- round positions (only contestants who competed in the first go-round will be placed in the performances). The remaining contestants (not placed in the performance) will run their second go-round in reverse order of their first go-round positions. The order of the draw will be the same as the competition order. The second go- round will begin the slack, immediately following the competition of the first go-round. SCORELINES - SW - 20.5’; SW - 16’; TR - 24’; SR - 20’. TR, SR - Electric eye will be used. If electric eye malfunctions, judges have the option to use a hand pull barrier . SR - Two go-rounds plus a progressive. The first and second go-rounds will be run Tues., June 26 at 5:00 PM. The top 40 after the first two go-rounds will advance to a progressive go-round held during the performances (10 per perf). Contestants may trade in progressive round. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. (The misdraw procedure will not be used.) $45 stock charge per go-round. SHOWDOWN TIE BREAKERS - All tie breakers are based on qualified rides and runs only. If a tie exists after the Showdown contestants have competed once, there will be either a ride-off or run- off (depending on event) between the tied contestants to determine the Champion. In the roughstock events, if a ride-off is required, any animals that were drawn as re-rides for the Finals and were not used will automatically be used as the ride-off animals. In the timed events, if a run- off is required, the designated spares will be used as tiebreaker animals. ALL CONTESTANTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release or visible injury release through PROCOM, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the average may be placed in that available position. (Non-notified TO’s and VIR’s after the turn out deadline will not be replaced). If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position, the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. Replacement contestants competition order will be based on his ranking in the average (not on the ranking of the contestant he is replacing). This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. In the riding events, if an animal has already been drawn for a contestant who has turned- out, the replacement contestant will draw an animal from a pool consisting of all animals that have been turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) and the first available designated re-ride.
