MCKENNA MAE KASTNER Born Feb. 14 to three-time WNFR qualifying bull rider Trevor Kastner and his wife, Kate, of Roff, Okla., a girl, McKenna Mae. McKenna weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 inches long. This is the couple’s first child.

BRIEFS Concerts on tap in Puyallup at Wrangler Tour finale During the 2018 season, PRCA cowboys will have the ability to compete in a new tour – the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour – which will debut in April. The Tour will feature 24 rodeos, beginning with Logandale, Nev., (April 11-15) and concluding with the finale presented by Justin Boots, Sept. 6-9, in Puyallup, Wash. During the Puyallup weekend, country music stars Scotty McCreery and Jamey Johnson will have concerts Sept. 7 and Sept. 8. The concerts will begin at 9 p.m. (PT) each day. Tickets can also be purchased at the fair’s box office, 9th Avenue Southwest and Meridian Street on most Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Online and phone LeRoy Walton, a PRCA bareback rider from 1989-96, passed away March 8 in Prineville, Ore. He was 51. Walton was born Aug. 3, 1966, in Portland, Ore., to Harold and Nellie Walton. He graduated fromCanby High School. During Walton’s rodeo career, he qualified for the Columbia River Circuit Finals multiple times. He also went to Alaska with his brothers Randy, Doug and twin brother, Les, and became a commercial fisherman from 1988-96. LeRoy started his own business as

Funeral services were scheduled for Wauds Funeral Home at 11 a.m. (PT), April 7, in Tillamook, Ore. Walton is preceded in death by his father, HaroldWalton. He is survived by his mother, Nellie Walton; three brothers, Randy Walton, Doug Walton, and twin brother, Les Walton; sisters, Cathy Dimbat, Vickie Jacoby and Teresa Standly; and his two dogs, Remi and Goose.

Livermore Rodeo organizers searching for memorabilia Livermore (Calif.) Rodeo organizers are looking for old rodeo programs, photos and buckles that might have been tucked away for decades to corral them for a once-in-a-hundred-years project. The goal, under way for a year now, is to gather as much history as possible to be compiled into a book marking the 100th anniversary of the “World’s Fastest Rodeo,” which first opened its chutes in 1918. “What’s sad is that over the years, with as much as was saved, we didn’t really (develop) a great archive of photos and information,” said Livermore Rodeo Board member Sheila Fagliano in the March 12 issue of the East Bay Times . “We’re now working hard to scan those items and organize them so that we have an ongoing historic file for generations to come, which should have been done years ago. The
