TOPS AT SAN ANTONIO — Feb. 7-23 BAREBACK RIDING BY MATT NABER R eigning World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Wade Sundell may have experienced déjà vu on Feb. 23. The Iowa cowboy won the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo for the second time since 2014 thanks to four-time horse of the year Frontier Rodeo’s Medicine Woman – a bronc he’s now ridden five times. Medicine Woman and Sundell combined for rides in the upper-80s in the past, as well as a 92-point ride at the 2014 Dodge City (Kan.) Roundup Rodeo. His 2014 hot streak of winning San Antonio and Dodge City culminated with a third-place finish in the world standings with $180,726. When the 34-year-old gets on a roll, the wins keep coming, and his hot streak continued in south Texas, just like it did five years ago. The final round at the ProRodeo Tour stop presented a twist, as Déjà vu Sundell wins San Antonio for second time since 2014
