New colt Tiger Fever has strong bucking bloodlines BY SCOTT KANIEWSKI B ridwell Pro Rodeos’ bucking horse Beaver Fever made her final trip to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in December. Her final appearance at the WNFR marked her 11th. Cowboys scored twice on her. Now, she’s officially retired. But that might not be the last time rodeo fans hear about her. They might not have known, but Beaver Fever, 19, was eight months pregnant at the time. In February, she gave birth to a colt that could one day find himself at the WNFR if his bloodlines prove a predictor of his future. Not only does the newly born Tiger Fever have his mother’s bloodlines, but he also has three-time WNFR bucker Calgary Stampede’s Tiger Warrior as his sire.
