WADE SANKEY GETS INTO MAKING MOVIES • PRCA stock contractor at Sankey Pro Rodeo recorded a video in mid-April entitled “Meet the next generation of Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics’ Bucking horses” The video shows some of our crop of 29 colts that were born in 2017. One of the colts that really impressed me is 775, we call him Friendly. Shane and Haley Proctor came here after they were married and were in a 3,000-acre pasture with the colts. Friendly walked right up to Haley and let her pet him. He’s constantly in your way and always wanting to get petted. They don’t need to be mean to buck, but it’s strange for one that gentle to be that good. You can see him in the video, he’s the bay horse that gets it going on, and that was surprising. I thought he would lope over to me, but it was game time.

BRANDON MILBURN YEARNS FOR SUMMER • PRCA Music Director since 2013 fromWyoming I picked that song “Boys of Summer” by Don Henley because when I hear it, it takes me to the rodeo grounds. When summer comes around, it’s just the feeling of pulling into the rodeo and seeing your friends. Cowboys are the boys of summer, and everyone expects to see us in the summer in every town. My favorite song Chancey Williams. I feel like it’s going to be a shootout since every cowboy is rested and the stock are, too. When we get started rodeoing, this will be a summer to remember. for the coming summer is “Fastest Gun In Town” by
