San Antonio reveals large educational commitment

Starting with the arena SuperStars+ concert series, the Stampede now offers personal areas for you and nine of your closest friends in the Concert Pods. The exclusive pods, located behind the SRO section with an amazing view of the JBS stage, are approximately 10’x14’ and include one cocktail table and five barstools. Completing the premium experience, each pod features private access to a cash bar along with complimentary beverages provided by Pepsi. Each pod will also receive a commemorative cooler gift following the event. Pods are very limited with only 7 of 39 still available. For large parties looking to enjoy an arena event including the PRCA ProRodeo series, SuperStars+ concert series and Demolition Derby, elevate your experience at the Chevron Viewing Deck. Reservation of the private 30’x25’ space includes 24 tickets to The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is pleased to reveal its educational commitment of more than $12 million for 2023. This year, the organization impacted more than 18,000 Texas youth. Since 1984, the Rodeo has committed more than $255 million in scholarships, grants, endowments, auctions, calf scramble, & show premiums to fulfill its mission. Executive Director & CEO Cody Davenport said, “We are thrilled to help future generations of Texas youth achieve their educational goals. The rodeo and our more than 6,000 volunteers work diligently to generate funds for the youth of Texas as it is at the core of our organization and mission. This educational commitment would not be possible without the support of

the selected arena event, 12 general parking vouchers, private bar options with catering opportunities available. The Viewing Deck experience also comes with one 8-person table, six cocktail tables with barstools and staffing. Reserve the viewing deck starting at $1,300 per event. This throwback to the old tradition of pulling up to a rodeo to watch, gives spectators the opportunity to be eye-level with the bulls on the arena floor. For the Tailgate Party, the Greeley Stampede will provide the trucks, cocktail tables, and bleachers for this unique premium experience. The $50 ticket for the party also comes with access to the private tailgating bar and one free drink. Adding to the excitement, Breckenridge Brewery will be joining guests on the floor with their sampling booth. Approximately 1,700 active scholars attend Texas colleges and universities today. The funds are raised through events as well as the annual Stock Show & Rodeo and are awarded in the form of scholarships, grants, endowments, junior livestock auctions, student western art auction, calf scramble program and show premiums. All three cowboys are in the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colo. 8 The number of PRCA Finals record average titles won by Roy Cooper – tie-down roping 1976, 1979, 1983, 1995 and steer roping in 1984-85, 1993 and 1996. 11 The consecutive record number of PRCA Steer Roping World Championships won by legendary Guy Allen from 1991-2001. Allen has won 18 steer roping world titles, which is a PRCA record for most world championships in a single event. Allen was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 1996. 1984 The year that the only father-son daughter trio competed at the National Finals Rodeo in team ropers Dick Yates and J.D. Yates and barrel racer Kelly Yates.
