While all ProRodeos were put on pause in mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Super Series Finish will conclude the bracket competition that started in Houston. The competition will take place at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth (Texas) Stockyards, May 29-31 with the Super Series Finish presented in part by the hit-TV show “Yellowstone.” In the name of keeping fans, contestants and rodeo personnel safe from the virus, the only way to see the action unfold is by tuning into The Cowboy Channel or getting the PRCA on Cowboy Channel Plus App. The coverage, which will be at 8 p.m. (ET) Friday, and 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, will include feature commentary from “Yellowstone” Executive Producer Taylor Sheridan. Repeat airings are scheduled for midnight. “I think they’re going to see a rodeo, it’s what we have all missed,” saddle bronc rider Jacobs Crawley said. “There will be the masks, but the competition is what you’d expect with great rides and fast runs, and I’m excited to see it again after a few months. It’s the longest break I’ve had from rodeo in 15 years. I think the glass half-full part is that guys have had a chance to heal up and light that fire again of wanting to rodeo – it’s the two together.” Crawley, 32, is a nine-time qualifier for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (2011-19) and the 2015

Creek (Ariz.) Rodeo Days, May 22-24. It was the first ProRodeo since the COVID-19 pandemic halted events in mid-March. 11 The PRCA- record number of times Trevor Brazile qualified for the National Finals in three events in one year. He did steer roping in 2003-04, 2006- 11, 2013-15. 25 The number of five-time world champion steer wrestler Luke Branquinho has had at the Wrangler Nationals Finals Rodeo, an event record. it in tie-down roping, team roping and career go- round wins

world champion. The Texas cowboy has won $1.87 million in ProRodeo. The Super Series Finish will feature 64 contestants in each bracket and seven performances. Crawley frequently competed at that arena while in high school. “I grew up going to that rodeo and that arena as a teenager, and it’ll be different to see it with everything else this weekend,” Crawley said. “But, it’s definitely a ‘back to your roots’ kind of thing.” Several of this weekend’s competitors have the bonus of living nearby, such as Crawley who is coming in from about an hour away in Stephenville. “It’s very convenient,” Crawley said. “I’m looking forward to a nice trip up, then get on a bucking horse and go home at night.” As far as how this weekend’s competition will pan out, it’s a clean slate. “What I can be sure of is cowboys are excited to rodeo and everyone is hungry for it,” Crawley said. “Hopefully the people can see that on TV through the masks.”
